That’s “Good Afternoon!” in Spanish. Today our students have been enjoying a Spanish Theme Day!
They have sampled tapas, learnt some Spanish dance moves and created flags as well as an array of other fun activities!
Today marks the Young Carers Awareness Day. Did you know that there are about 700,000 young carers in the UK alone?
We are aware that many of our students have siblings, who help with their social and emotional care, as well as helping their parents and carers in other ways too. We take our hats off to you all!
The new year is well underway and our students have all settled back into their usual school routine.
Today some of our students enjoyed their offsite activities, including swimming and a woodland walk. Thankfully the sun kept it’s hat on for us!
Happy New Year! We hope you have had a wonderful break.
Our staff are all back in and raring to go, updating their training, getting everything set up and ready for the students to return.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday morning!
We are fortunate to have a charity partnership with the company Covea Insurance, who do some remarkable fundraising for us throughout the year.
Today some of our students went along to their Christmas Charity Event to sell some artwork, Christmas cards and decorations. Whilst there, they had great fun dressing up as Father Christmas, taking part in a game of limbo and loved meeting some of the Covea staff. Thanks again to Covea for having us today and for having The Quest School as one of your named charities. We are so grateful for everything you do for us and all of us here wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Today we have been having fun making Xmas cards for the upcoming Christmas Charity Event which will be run by our charity partners, Covea Insurance.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Covea, as the recently raised funds have meant we have been able to purchase this amazing table and chairs which can be adjusted to fit all of our students.
Today is national Carers Rights Day.
All of us here at The Quest School would like to express our admiration and thanks to the incredible carers who look after their loved ones. You are all remarkable!
Congratulations to Nicky Keyes, who recently was promoted to Lead ABA Supervisor. We know she will do a fabulous job and continue to help the students at The Quest School to thrive!
This term marks a special milestone for The Quest School. Since opening our doors in 2003, we have now enrolled 50 students! Who could have envisaged what started in a village hall in Offham, with 3 pupils, would turn into the remarkable school that we have today.
Our 50th student, arrived on a phased transition just before half term and has settled into the school well, on a full time basis, since returning after the break!
